Identification of Investigator and Purpose of Study
You are invited to participate in a research study, entitled Viewing Habits and Perceptions of Users Streaming StarCraft II Online. The study is being conducted by Travis Givens with the Radio-Television-Film Department of The University of Texas at Austin. The purpose of this research is an exploratory study that aims to better understand what people’s habits and attitudes are regarding streaming StarCraft II content. Your participation in the study will contribute to a better understanding of how people watch and their attitudes regarding streaming StarCraft II content. You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
If you agree to participate:
• The survey will take approximately 5 minutes of your time.
• You will complete an activity about your viewing habits and perceptions regarding streaming StarCraft II.
• You will not be compensated.
Risks/Benefits/Confidentiality of Data
There are no known risks. There will be no costs for participating, nor will you benefit from participating. No identifying information will be collected during this survey. A limited number of research team members will have access to the data during data collection.
Participation or Withdrawal
Your participation in this study is voluntary. You may decline to answer any question and you have the right to withdraw from participation at any time. Withdrawal will not affect your relationship with The University of Texas in anyway. If you do not want to participate either simply stop participating or close the browser window.
