Description

View Results - You several options on this screen including Views, Responses, Survey Title, Clear Results, Quick Report, Analyze Results, Email Results, and Export

Views: This reflects the number of times the survey has been opened/viewed.

Responses: As survey respondents complete a survey you will see the number of responses change. Survey Responses only show the number of surveys for which the participant has gone all the way through the survey and clicked the final Submit button. It does not necessarily mean all of the questions have been answered, unless they were all required. To see the number change during survey administration, click on your Internet browser’s Refresh button.

Survey Title: Displays the title of the Survey. Clicking on the title will open the survey in a new browser tab. You can search for a title in this column by clicking on the 3 stacked dots in the column heading and entering in your search term.

Clear Results: If you wish to clear results from a survey you can use this button to do so. BE CAREFUL! Once survey results have been deleted you will not be able to retrieve them. There will be a charge to retrieve any data that you have accidentally deleted.

Quick Report: The Quick Report is an on screen display of the Item Frequency Report available in the Analyze Results area. It will show Response totals, allow you to see written responses and print the report to a PDF. You can apply filtering for up to 2 questions by using the Filter Results button at the top of the page when the report is displayed.

Analyze Results: This area will allow you to run Item Frequency and Crosstab reports, create filters for reporting and view responses by date. More information about the reporting can be found on the Help screen in the Analyze Results area.

Email Report Link: Click this button to send a link to the item frequency report. You may wish to share the survey results with other individuals within the organization using this feature. On this screen you will need to complete certain fields:

From Address: Your e-mail address goes here, or the e-mail address from whom you would like the e-mail to be sent.

    Thank you!

***TIP: Because ZipSurvey automatically inserts an Opt Out link in your email, you should press Enter several times after the last line of your email. This will move the Opt Out link down some distance from the Report link, helping people to avoid clicking on the wrong link.

Test E-mail: Upon creating your e-mail you may choose to send a test e-mail to review the e-mail. The test e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address entered in the From Address: field.

Send: When you are ready to send the e-mail to all participants, click the send button. Returned e-mails will be sent to the e-mail address entered in the From Address: field.

Export: Often, users wish to export a data file that can then be imported into another program such as Excel, SPSS, Statistica, SAS, etc for the purposes of running more robust statistical analyses. Our system enables users to export in Excel format or either a Comma-Delimited (CSV) or Tab-Delimited text file (.txt) that can easily be imported into other programs. Exporting a data file can take several minutes depending upon the amount of data collected. The Excel and Comma-Delimited file will open in Excel to be saved. The Tab-Delimited export will automatically open in a new browser window and the data will be displayed. To save this text file to your PC, go to File and then Save on your browser menu.
